TO SHOOT OR SUPPORT SUPPOSITIONS OF GOD?
Analysis allows evaluating and identifying a spectrum of diverse views and not as a prescription

Saints, Sufis and Swamis spent lifetime chanting God, Allah and Ishwar’s name, yet they fail to find him. This reveals the real state of their tormented mind. The absence of God, Allah and Ishwar in their life remains till their death. They live in a state of spiritual pain throughout their life, and waste their whole life in vain, struggling to find an elusive supernatural being. Saints, Sufis and Swamis themselves doubt his existence, and live with this contradiction, secretly buried within themselves, like hypocrites, and camouflage their communication with verbal deception, as if their heart was in love with God, Allah and Ishwar.
That which the religionsts term as the 'Absolute' in cosmic space, paradoxically is nothing except void and infinity, which implies God of religions, as the creator and the controller of the cosmos does not exist. One should decline, to discuss such assumptions as God, because engaging in meta-physical speculations is futile and does not help, any which way, to enhance a rational understanding of the cosmos. The prime objective must be to know ‘Yourself’ and ‘How to live life’ well, so be non-committal to meta-physical questions, as silence is the answer to the unknowable.
Wrong notions of God are responsible in blocking and retarding the thinking of the religious people, making them delusionally dogmatic. As such, the religionists fail to look beyond their Holy books, and are helplessly stuck in the words of the scriptures, they miss the spirit and the essence of the real message of their religion. They should avoid being rigid, and seek the spirit of Buddha not Buddhism, the spirit of God not Christianity, the spirit of Allah not Islam, the spirit of Ishwar not Hinduism. Let all religionists wake up, and connect to the core and not to the crust.

People are conditioned to turn to God not only in times of adversity, they worship and look at him, as the savior of their soul, who protects and rewards them and punishes those who don't believe him. Then people can ask. Why an all powerful God, allows dictators to massacre million of innocent people, and natural calamities bury millions, rendering survivors homeless? God perhaps is not as powerful as we think, God can do little about the unpredictability of human behavior and natural phenomena.
Do we really need God? Why atheistic point of view is left unrepresented on this issue? Atheism is also directly related to God. If believers believe in God, atheist denies God. Atheists opine Gods existence is fabricated by weak people, who cannot reconcile to the uncertainties of life, and the fact that we live once and die, never to be born again. Are atheist right when they claim uncertainty and death is behind the belief in God? Conscious of imminent mortality, people seek assurance of an afterlife, and all religions promise it. Do people believe these promises? No one wants to die, everyone wants to live forever. If a person after death is not born again, then does Gods existence or non-existence matter. Then what difference would it make, if God watches or does not watch over us.
Religions cite cause and effect as a principle to establish God’s existence. Since everything in the world is produced by a combination of things, unquestionably somebody must have created the universe too, who could that be other than God, if God created the universe than who created God. With no specific answer, believers cite divine dispensation to explain the wonders of nature. People want proof of God and they don’t get it. Take the concept of heaven and hell for instance, it is illogical, why should a man burn forever in hell because of living one bad life? By that logic we should not rescue a man who has fallen into a well because he is only paying for his past sins. Theory of reincarnation is unconvincing too. It explains current misery, as punishment for bad 'Karma' done in past life.
Educated people judge by personal experience, inferential and cognate modes of reasoning have for their basis direct cognition. Therefore, direct cognition is of prime importance. Rest all sink down to a secondary level, with no value or virtue. The enjoyment that results in embracing a beautiful woman is the result of direct cognition. We all know lessons of life are learned at personal level, without the support of God and religion. Someone who claims it is Gods doing, surely lives in a different world. Is God useful, to enhance the quality of day to day life? or is it just a slanted consequence, full of knowledge, serving no meaningful purpose, except helping to daydream.
If the mystery of the unknown is to be solved, it has to be dealt in terms of what is already known, but no one seems to heed to this basic principle of learning. The unknown God is described in equally unknown terminology. God is said to be infinite, omnipotent, omnipresent, truth, love and a whole spectrum of wise and weird, this, that, and what not. Human intellect cannot perceive God. How can unfamiliar means solve mystery of the unknown? These are mere words, words showing helplessness, wasted in pointless description of God, as an object of reality.
The majority of people are trusting, innocent and ignorant about the God concept. They struggle with unknown terms and terminology, little do they realize the futility of their efforts. Time passes on and they are where they are. Their knowledge of God remains in obscurity forever. The intelligent are conscious of their capacity and incapability, and give up the chase. The ignorant believe that they know God, and in this ignorance, they parrot their tutored concepts to the world as the gospel truth.
Many don’t believe in God. Why do they need to believe in something they don't feel strong about? When they are in love they don’t say 'I believe I am in love', they know that they are in love because the feeling of love is so strong that they can hardly think of anything else other then the person they love. So in that sense they don’t believe in God, since they are conditioned from birth, to believe so they believe, and hesitate to deny the existence of God.
Why use the word God to name the Supreme Being, an expression, which has led to so much hate, death and destruction of civilizations. Why do we have to go to religious places to interact with God, when God is everywhere? Religious leaders make promises, if we perform certain rituals, repeat certain prayers, we shall find something beyond life that is God. A suppressed mind, a tormented mind, loaded with denial, will find answers according to forced religious beliefs, distortions, extreme imbalanced and unnatural point of view of God.
Have we ever inquired why it is man who is always trying so hard to find God? Do other living being do the same what humans do? Why, since ages only man alone has been trying to prove the existence of God? If there was a God guiding the destiny of man, surely he would have appeared in broad daylight, before the people in person. At the same time, he would have put an end to the evil, oppression and misery, once and for all. Why God has been eluding the crowd, ever since he was strolled, by the authors of holy Books. People should not leave their destiny to whims of Gods now, they must take full control of their life and navigate their life by righteous deeds.
Universe was created and 'Man' appeared on earth many million years ago, Religion and God originated recently a few thousand years ago, with the advent of Avatars, sons of God and prophets. Has God done injustice to all those billions of people who lived and died before the inception of religion? Where was the God of religion at the time of stone age? Why did he choose to appear in the medieval age? Was God gaining experience before launching his religion? Or God was not mature or sufficiently well-informed? In this ploy, God looks like a worldly wise man.
Most of the Hindu Gods are decorated with an array of glittering weapons. They have multiple heads and arms to tackle hydra-headed enemies who work incessantly for the destruction of humanity. Would these Gods have come if man lived a life of benediction? It’s when the ruling class is corrupt and fails to deliver justice that men start looking for saviors. Those who shunned statecraft in favor of spiritual values became the alternate leaders of the masses. Like Krishna, Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed. They changed the prevalent society with their reformative thoughts.
People express gratitude to God, by worshiping the Founders of religions, authors of Holy Books, preacher who sermonize, and institution that creates a separate religious group, enticing people to join the brand of their religion. People are lured to become members of their group and led to believe, their God is different, from the Gods of other religions, who can fulfill worldly desires, protect followers from troubles, and shoulder their responsibilities. These people don’t realize freedom comes by assuming responsibility, and by performing righteous deeds, not by evading them, as slaves of bogus beliefs or following a preferred God, among many Gods created by numerous religions.
From early period of history, where no one had any idea, what was going on, the unlikelihood of God was present. Ignorance prevailed during the formative years of human species. When reason evolved then mental constructs started dominating the world. Today, the natural world is under the monopoly of human thoughts. In absence of a regulator and to tame baser animal instincts, God concept emerged. Over the years, the evil done in his name, is forcing people to explore the possibility of a better alternative. The creation of the universe by God is false, which stands proved by the theory of evolution, which outlines the ascent of Homo sapiens over millions of years by the process of natural selection. As a result, God is now a historical object, like a relic of a bygone age.
The great religious texts of the world, which believers understand as the word of God by way of revelation settled with one or more prophets or by descending on earth as in the form of several avatars or by sending his descendants or even his own son, on the gravel of the globe, are full of inexplicable lapses and inconsistencies. The perspective is not universal, but restricted and local. Can these credentials, perhaps relevant in a certain frame of time and place in history, affirm jurisdiction over the people world over even now? In the present day, people need motivation not manipulation.
When imagination crosses the frontiers of human limitations, it bounces back, like the reflection on a mirror, or like an echo in a empty room. Therefore, God did not create man in his image. It was the other way around. Human beings are naturally solipsistic. God concept moderates their stand on self-existence and egoism, holding human beings, to the will of a higher authority. But in reality, God and religion aggravates human egoism and fosters violence, to ruthlessly persecute people. Belief is often irrational, nobody has met God, and man is still trying to meet him, now it is the turn of God to meet man. God was created in a specific historical scenario, to pass strictures, to subdue people, state could not. Now, it has no relevance, in an age, where individual freedom precedes everything else.
Why people wait for God to act for them? Let us assume there is God, then is it wrong to disagree with him? God is not necessarily the source of good or even good himself. We personify God as a convenient way of making him more like ourselves. What could possibly give us confidence to become a benevolent being? Even after the reign of thousands of years, religions are still stained by human blood. A blissful person who celebrates every moment of life would hardly follow religions and their Gods. Man needs God, when life metes out a raw deal, like poverty, famine, epidemics, greed and wars, when thing is in a state of uncertainty, the business of Gods thrives.
Many do not believe in the existence of God or holy books or rituals. They believe that no creatures, not even a human being is immortal, all are subject to death. So, let a man for that reason, live in ease and comfort, as long he draws his last breath. After death the body is burnt or buried and the man who enjoyed himself fully during his lifetime never returns back after his demise, so let a man enjoy himself to the hilt, accumulate wealth and spent it on the gratification of his desires, and eat, drink and be merry, enjoy life now, as there is no hereafter.
The four elements, earth, water and air have entered into the composition of the human body. Consciousness results from the combination of body, mind and cosmic and earthy elements, even as inebriation results from the use of intoxicants, similarly the soul takes its birth simultaneously with the body and is dissolved with its dissolution, the existence of the soul after death is not demonstrable by direct cognition nor does its creation by a God.

Each religion conceives God from its customs, traditions and culture, currently materialism is the defining factor of modern civilization. If there was any God, directing the destiny of man, he would have come down on earth to guarantee his protection, and put an end to evil, oppression and misery, once and for all.
God as master of destiny of the people, promotes slackness, sagginess, softness and sluggishness in a man, making him slothful and lethargic. He is liable to commit bad deeds, hoping his sins will be pardoned by God. Even in prayers human weakness is seen. People demand from God that which cannot be gained by the grace of anyone, but by ones own self efforts. The common man wants to believe, what he can comprehend easily, so he tells himself that what he sees in church, mosque or temple is nothing but a symbolic form of God. Consciously he says this is God, but subconsciously he convinces himself, it is not, so he lives in a contradiction, to believe or not to believe.

Is faith in God necessary? Most people are spoon-fed and conditioned, from birth to believe in God, even if, they know nothing about him. Trust in God gives them peace of mind, creates self confidence, self esteem and a will to carry the burdens of life with ease. So nothing goes against credence and conviction in God, provided this thought of line is directed to make oneself a better person or for the greater good of the people, society and the world. There is no argument against faith. Therefore, no reasoning goes against God, which can shake people’s faith in him.
There is something further than the ken and knack, of human understanding, which is above all material intentions and interest. That’s why; man has throughout the ages, has been struggling to seek something beyond him and the depth of his insightfulness, something people accept as God, and something that cannot be disturbed by changing circumstances, by notions or by any perverted version.
God pervades like ether, he is the source of creation, sustenance and dissolution of the universe. God is not the record keeper of what he creates, supports or dissolves, nor does he escort anyone to heaven or hell. We are cognizant of the existence of God by observing godly qualities like knowledge, intelligence, wisdom, justice, mercy, intuition and oneness etc. God as super consciousness possesses infinite power, the source of the universe.
The whole cosmos, the galaxy, the universe and the world is substance and spirit. The primordial substance or matter manifests into various visible and tangible objects, as the material cause. the pervading spirit or super or cosmic consciousness or God is the efficient cause of the whole cosmos. a reality that is difficult to decode.
Through robotic missions in space, man can use the technological prowess of remote control to operate, manmade instruments by manmade structure of energy, unseen by the naked eye. Likewise all living being on earth are the instrument of God and the remote control of their birth, existence and death is in the hand of God. Therefore, the presence of a supernatural power, even if it cannot be seen is not negated. As such, the existence of God cannot be denied. God is a reality.
For instance, no one can see air yet all living beings breathe air to stay alive, air is the universal life-force. This airy element is deeply rooted in the bodies of all living beings. We all are an inseparable part of this energy called air. This unseen force is present in all living beings. When human beings become more and more spiritually aware, they develop a subtle awareness that all living beings on planet earth, are interconnected as an inseparable part of ‘One’ cosmic entity, the medium and matrix of an unfathomable super structure of consciousness, called God.
We have no other mathematical, rational or technical option imaginable, which is reasonable, except to swap infinity with God so that the presence of the unborn and the undying is known and felt in our lives. God is the power through which we see, how we can see God through whom we see. The world of God consists of inconceivable visible, invisible, subtle and gross dimensions, existing in unimaginable forms and shapes, and indescribable sources of senses. As a result, the presence of God is beyond the scope of our three dimensional limited perception and our restricted and tapered five senses, those who overstep their brief, have delusions, and see things, which are not there. This has resulted in lopsided descriptions of God in Holy Scriptures.
No theory nor any proposition or a hypothesis is required. The approach to know, concepts like God, must thoroughly explain it from ground reality. God idea starts from the unknowable to the knowable, and reaches people wherever they are, and takes them up, step by step from the lowest depth of ignorance, to the highest peak of understanding. People are made to reflect, comprehend, test, verify, experience and realize the ultimate truth. It provides sufficient material to people, to think for themselves, in terms of knowledge, intelligence and wisdom as indicators of God.
Knowledge, intelligence and wisdom take us up to the furthermost point. No one can take us beyond that point. Yet we do not want to remain there. No doubt, our curiosity needs something more of something we do not know, to make use of it, and go beyond it. God helps us to cross this impenetrable barrier of observation. keeping the riddle of God animate. Therefore, despite various views expressed against the existence of God, the world is not likely to see the end of God, because the impression of God is hardwired in human genes.
Silence is the language of nature. Symbols, signs and all languages in the world, as tools to communicate are manmade. Any debate about God in any manmade languages or through symbols and signs is a futile exercise. Even Buddha remained silent, on the existence or non-existence of God, because making a statement on God is beyond words. God is in every part of existence. Words are invented by human mind and mind has no connection with the source of creation. Even atheists swear in the name of God that God does not exist. If philosophy, metaphysics, theology and religions have failed, science too is struggling with this brainteaser. If the unexplainable requires proof, so does its denial. What we do not know, does not negate the information, it does not exist.
The reasonable observation is that God is super consciousness. This quantum transition represents mind, and the material world as body. The God of religions is the creator of the universe, even if he has created man, he behaves like a man, and performs miracles to save humanity from crisis and calamities. Believers, who look up to him, say God can still perform such feats. Sensitively speaking, it seems man is ready to bestow anyone, the status of a God, if he can save him from trouble. Even saints are canonized on the basis of miracles not on humanitarian work. Recently, in India the rise of Sai Baba as the richest popular God is a testimony. It seems our Gods are offspring of our personal and economic dissatisfaction. God is above petty sentiments. Let us revere him as the highest cosmic wisdom.
Ego is the cause of evil and ego divides the world. When we surrender to God, the monopoly, superiority and the fear of God helps to shed the ego and make people humble so that they do not hurt their fellow beings and other living beings on earth, thus the virtue of humility is developed. Further, the connection with God helps to reduce, the undesirable instincts of passion, possession and attachments, thereby helping to develop the virtue of detachment. Overall, the God concept, helps to subdue mans ego and his baser animal instincts
The power to sustain qualities like universal compassion, love and brotherhood comes when the mind is possessed with the idea of God. The source of virtues like moral excellence, selflessness, righteousness is the direct outcome from the inspiration of Godlike qualities, which is a step in the right direction, evolving human excellence and developing a progressive civilization. God is the most valuable idea shaped by human mind to benefit humanity. Over a period of time, we need to reinvent the interpretation of God, on an ongoing basis, to keep it alive, so as to facilitate a nonstop surge of development in the pursuit of finer human qualities.

People express gratitude to God, by worshiping the Founders of religions, authors of Holy Books, preacher who sermonize, and institution that creates a separate religious group, enticing people to join the brand of their religion. People are lured to become members of their group and led to believe, their God is different, from the Gods of other religions, who can fulfill worldly desires, protect followers from troubles, and shoulder their responsibilities. These people don’t realize freedom comes by assuming responsibility, and by performing righteous deeds, not by evading them, as slaves of bogus beliefs or following a preferred God, among many Gods created by numerous religions.
From early period of history, where no one had any idea, what was going on, the unlikelihood of God was present. Ignorance prevailed during the formative years of human species. When reason evolved then mental constructs started dominating the world. Today, the natural world is under the monopoly of human thoughts. In absence of a regulator and to tame baser animal instincts, God concept emerged. Over the years, the evil done in his name, is forcing people to explore the possibility of a better alternative. The creation of the universe by God is false, which stands proved by the theory of evolution, which outlines the ascent of Homo sapiens over millions of years by the process of natural selection. As a result, God is now a historical object, like a relic of a bygone age.
The great religious texts of the world, which believers understand as the word of God by way of revelation settled with one or more prophets or by descending on earth as in the form of several avatars or by sending his descendants or even his own son, on the gravel of the globe, are full of inexplicable lapses and inconsistencies. The perspective is not universal, but restricted and local. Can these credentials, perhaps relevant in a certain frame of time and place in history, affirm jurisdiction over the people world over even now? In the present day, people need motivation not manipulation.
When imagination crosses the frontiers of human limitations, it bounces back, like the reflection on a mirror, or like an echo in a empty room. Therefore, God did not create man in his image. It was the other way around. Human beings are naturally solipsistic. God concept moderates their stand on self-existence and egoism, holding human beings, to the will of a higher authority. But in reality, God and religion aggravates human egoism and fosters violence, to ruthlessly persecute people. Belief is often irrational, nobody has met God, and man is still trying to meet him, now it is the turn of God to meet man. God was created in a specific historical scenario, to pass strictures, to subdue people, state could not. Now, it has no relevance, in an age, where individual freedom precedes everything else.
Why people wait for God to act for them? Let us assume there is God, then is it wrong to disagree with him? God is not necessarily the source of good or even good himself. We personify God as a convenient way of making him more like ourselves. What could possibly give us confidence to become a benevolent being? Even after the reign of thousands of years, religions are still stained by human blood. A blissful person who celebrates every moment of life would hardly follow religions and their Gods. Man needs God, when life metes out a raw deal, like poverty, famine, epidemics, greed and wars, when thing is in a state of uncertainty, the business of Gods thrives.
Many do not believe in the existence of God or holy books or rituals. They believe that no creatures, not even a human being is immortal, all are subject to death. So, let a man for that reason, live in ease and comfort, as long he draws his last breath. After death the body is burnt or buried and the man who enjoyed himself fully during his lifetime never returns back after his demise, so let a man enjoy himself to the hilt, accumulate wealth and spent it on the gratification of his desires, and eat, drink and be merry, enjoy life now, as there is no hereafter.
The four elements, earth, water and air have entered into the composition of the human body. Consciousness results from the combination of body, mind and cosmic and earthy elements, even as inebriation results from the use of intoxicants, similarly the soul takes its birth simultaneously with the body and is dissolved with its dissolution, the existence of the soul after death is not demonstrable by direct cognition nor does its creation by a God.
The narration of God in holy books is the production of authors, who have embodied in it, the biographies of human beings. God is the most ungodly thing created by man. Each religion conceives God from its customs, traditions and culture, currently materialism is the defining factor of modern civilization. Yet, vast majority passively accepted God as the creator, and originator of Universe, with centuries of mental conditioning, people believe in the existence of God, they criticize and condemn those who do not believe. To them the existence of God is obvious. To question his existence is not only considered as absurd but as profane, sacrilegious and blasphemous.
Reality is what, we take to be true, what we take to be true is what we believe, what we believe is based upon our percepts, what we perceive depends on what we look for, what we look for depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe, what we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is a self conceived reality, which is different from universal reality. A controversy over the existence of God is raging since God concept was created. If there was any God, directing the destiny of man, he would have come down on earth to guarantee his protection, and put an end to evil, oppression and misery, once and for all.
God as master of destiny of the people, promotes slackness, sagginess, softness and sluggishness in a man, making him slothful and lethargic. He is liable to commit bad deeds, hoping his sins will be pardoned by God. Even in prayers human weakness is seen. People demand from God that which cannot be gained by the grace of anyone, but by ones own self efforts. The common man wants to believe, what he can comprehend easily, so he tells himself that what he sees in church, mosque or temple is nothing but a symbolic form of God. Consciously he says this is God, but subconsciously he convinces himself, it is not, so he lives in a contradiction, to believe or not to believe.
VIEWS IN FAVOR OF GOD
Is faith in God necessary? Most people are spoon-fed and conditioned, from birth to believe in God, even if, they know nothing about him. Trust in God gives them peace of mind, creates self confidence, self esteem and a will to carry the burdens of life with ease. So nothing goes against credence and conviction in God, provided this thought of line is directed to make oneself a better person or for the greater good of the people, society and the world. There is no argument against faith. Therefore, no reasoning goes against God, which can shake people’s faith in him.
There is something further than the ken and knack, of human understanding, which is above all material intentions and interest. That’s why; man has throughout the ages, has been struggling to seek something beyond him and the depth of his insightfulness, something people accept as God, and something that cannot be disturbed by changing circumstances, by notions or by any perverted version.
God pervades like ether, he is the source of creation, sustenance and dissolution of the universe. God is not the record keeper of what he creates, supports or dissolves, nor does he escort anyone to heaven or hell. We are cognizant of the existence of God by observing godly qualities like knowledge, intelligence, wisdom, justice, mercy, intuition and oneness etc. God as super consciousness possesses infinite power, the source of the universe.
The whole cosmos, the galaxy, the universe and the world is substance and spirit. The primordial substance or matter manifests into various visible and tangible objects, as the material cause. the pervading spirit or super or cosmic consciousness or God is the efficient cause of the whole cosmos. a reality that is difficult to decode.
Through robotic missions in space, man can use the technological prowess of remote control to operate, manmade instruments by manmade structure of energy, unseen by the naked eye. Likewise all living being on earth are the instrument of God and the remote control of their birth, existence and death is in the hand of God. Therefore, the presence of a supernatural power, even if it cannot be seen is not negated. As such, the existence of God cannot be denied. God is a reality.
For instance, no one can see air yet all living beings breathe air to stay alive, air is the universal life-force. This airy element is deeply rooted in the bodies of all living beings. We all are an inseparable part of this energy called air. This unseen force is present in all living beings. When human beings become more and more spiritually aware, they develop a subtle awareness that all living beings on planet earth, are interconnected as an inseparable part of ‘One’ cosmic entity, the medium and matrix of an unfathomable super structure of consciousness, called God.
We have no other mathematical, rational or technical option imaginable, which is reasonable, except to swap infinity with God so that the presence of the unborn and the undying is known and felt in our lives. God is the power through which we see, how we can see God through whom we see. The world of God consists of inconceivable visible, invisible, subtle and gross dimensions, existing in unimaginable forms and shapes, and indescribable sources of senses. As a result, the presence of God is beyond the scope of our three dimensional limited perception and our restricted and tapered five senses, those who overstep their brief, have delusions, and see things, which are not there. This has resulted in lopsided descriptions of God in Holy Scriptures.
No theory nor any proposition or a hypothesis is required. The approach to know, concepts like God, must thoroughly explain it from ground reality. God idea starts from the unknowable to the knowable, and reaches people wherever they are, and takes them up, step by step from the lowest depth of ignorance, to the highest peak of understanding. People are made to reflect, comprehend, test, verify, experience and realize the ultimate truth. It provides sufficient material to people, to think for themselves, in terms of knowledge, intelligence and wisdom as indicators of God.
Knowledge, intelligence and wisdom take us up to the furthermost point. No one can take us beyond that point. Yet we do not want to remain there. No doubt, our curiosity needs something more of something we do not know, to make use of it, and go beyond it. God helps us to cross this impenetrable barrier of observation. keeping the riddle of God animate. Therefore, despite various views expressed against the existence of God, the world is not likely to see the end of God, because the impression of God is hardwired in human genes.
Silence is the language of nature. Symbols, signs and all languages in the world, as tools to communicate are manmade. Any debate about God in any manmade languages or through symbols and signs is a futile exercise. Even Buddha remained silent, on the existence or non-existence of God, because making a statement on God is beyond words. God is in every part of existence. Words are invented by human mind and mind has no connection with the source of creation. Even atheists swear in the name of God that God does not exist. If philosophy, metaphysics, theology and religions have failed, science too is struggling with this brainteaser. If the unexplainable requires proof, so does its denial. What we do not know, does not negate the information, it does not exist.
The reasonable observation is that God is super consciousness. This quantum transition represents mind, and the material world as body. The God of religions is the creator of the universe, even if he has created man, he behaves like a man, and performs miracles to save humanity from crisis and calamities. Believers, who look up to him, say God can still perform such feats. Sensitively speaking, it seems man is ready to bestow anyone, the status of a God, if he can save him from trouble. Even saints are canonized on the basis of miracles not on humanitarian work. Recently, in India the rise of Sai Baba as the richest popular God is a testimony. It seems our Gods are offspring of our personal and economic dissatisfaction. God is above petty sentiments. Let us revere him as the highest cosmic wisdom.
Ego is the cause of evil and ego divides the world. When we surrender to God, the monopoly, superiority and the fear of God helps to shed the ego and make people humble so that they do not hurt their fellow beings and other living beings on earth, thus the virtue of humility is developed. Further, the connection with God helps to reduce, the undesirable instincts of passion, possession and attachments, thereby helping to develop the virtue of detachment. Overall, the God concept, helps to subdue mans ego and his baser animal instincts
The power to sustain qualities like universal compassion, love and brotherhood comes when the mind is possessed with the idea of God. The source of virtues like moral excellence, selflessness, righteousness is the direct outcome from the inspiration of Godlike qualities, which is a step in the right direction, evolving human excellence and developing a progressive civilization. God is the most valuable idea shaped by human mind to benefit humanity. Over a period of time, we need to reinvent the interpretation of God, on an ongoing basis, to keep it alive, so as to facilitate a nonstop surge of development in the pursuit of finer human qualities.
